About Parchisi STAR Online
About the Game
Parchisi STAR Online is a multiplayer version of Parchis, a traditional board game that is especially well known in Spain. It belongs to the family of cross and circle games and is based on the Indian game Pachisi. Many people know a similar game as Ludo, so the idea of racing pieces around a board will feel familiar to them.
How the Board Works
The game is played with two dice and four pieces for each player. The board has a track that runs around the outside, four corner areas where pieces start, and four home paths that lead to a central end space. The most common version of the board has 68 spaces on the outer track and 12 of them are marked as safe spaces. Pieces on a safe space cannot be captured, so planning your route matters.
Ways to Play
You can play with two players or four players. A mode called Rapido is made for shorter matches that last around five minutes, which helps when you do not have much time. The game can also be played on both phones and tablets.
Chat and Social Play
During a match you can send text messages and emoji to other players. Live voice chat is also available for players who prefer to talk. This makes the game more social than a simple solo puzzle and gives friends a way to stay connected even when they are far apart.
Boards, Dice and Rewards
The game lists more than five hundred board and dice designs, so the look of your match can change often. A daily magic chest gives a reward each day. Achievements unlock as you play. A special period called Parchisi Hour offers larger rewards when you win by a wider margin.
Cost
The game is listed as free to play on the store.

Parchis and Ludo in Simple Terms
People often ask whether Parchis and Ludo are the same game. They are close relatives because both come from the old Indian game Pachisi, but they are not identical. Here is a simple way to see the difference.
| Point | Ludo | Parchis |
|---|---|---|
| Dice | Usually one die | Two dice |
| Board | Simple cross shaped track | Longer track with safe spaces |
| Pieces | Four per player | Four per player |
| Popular in | South Asia and many other regions | Spain and Latin America |
When to Choose This Game
If you like Ludo but want slightly more planning, Parchis can be a good next step. Using two dice gives you more choices on every turn, so you spend a little longer deciding which piece to move. Players who prefer very simple games may still enjoy Ludo more, but those who like a bit of strategy often prefer this version.
A Friendly Warning
Board games with captures can create small rivalries among friends and family. Remember that the game is meant to be fun and that a lost match is only a game.
Before You Install
