About Vita Mahjong
What Kind of Game It Is
Vita Mahjong is a tile matching puzzle in the style of Mahjong Solitaire. The board is covered with tiles that carry different pictures. Your task is to find two tiles with the same picture and remove them until the board is empty. It does not follow the rules of traditional Mahjong or of card based solitaire. The word Mahjong here describes only the look of the tiles.
How a Level Works
You tap two matching tiles or slide one onto the other and both disappear. Only tiles that are free can be matched, which means a tile must not be covered or blocked by others. Clearing the whole board completes the level. Good play comes from looking at the layout first and opening up tiles that hide many others.
Made for Comfort
The developer designed the game with older players in mind. Tiles and text are large so they are easy to read on both phones and tablets. There is also a mode without a timer and without score pressure, so you can play at a relaxed pace.
Helpful Tools and Extra Modes
When a board feels difficult you can use hints, undo and shuffle. A special mode called Active Mind Levels is meant to exercise memory and attention. Matching tiles in a row builds combos, and some boards include special tiles that change the classic idea a little. Hundreds of boards are included.
Daily Play
A daily challenge gives you a short practice round and trophies to collect. This is a simple reason to return for a few minutes each day.
Offline Use
The game works fully without an internet connection, so it can be played at home or on the move.

Why This Style of Puzzle Suits Calm Play
Tile matching has no opponent and no hurry. You look at the board, find a pair and take your time with the next one. For many people that makes it a pleasant way to rest the mind in the evening or during a quiet afternoon. A mode without a timer removes even the small pressure of a countdown.
Comfort Checklist
- Large tiles that are simple to tap
- Readable text sizes
- Works on phones and tablets
- Hints, undo and shuffle when you feel stuck
- Play without internet
A Helpful Way to Begin
Start with the easier boards and play without the timer. Spend a few seconds studying the layout before your first tap. Try to clear tiles that sit on top of large stacks because this opens more pairs. Use shuffle only when no pairs remain, and keep hints for the moments when you really cannot see a move.
One Thing to Remember
If you expect the full traditional Mahjong game with its four players and scoring, this is not that game. It is a single player matching puzzle that borrows the tile look. Knowing this in advance avoids confusion.
